450 Area of Rescue Assistance

Act (ADA) in 1990, Area of Rescue Assistance systems
are required in public buildings. The Pro-Alert 450
meets these requirements, providing communication to
emergency response personnel. This system, available
in audio-visual and tone-visual versions, ensures the
exact location of the caller is immediately recognized
for assistance. It is applicable for use in any handicapped-accessible
area.

Pro-Alert 450 enables an emergency signal to be activated
from a designated area of rescue assistance by simply
pressing a button. When a call for help is placed from
a remote location on a Remote Call Station, the red
light flashes rapidly and the alert tone sounds to assure
the caller that a call was placed on the system. At
the Master Annunciator, the high-intensity light flashes
and the alert tone sounds to notify the emergency response
personnel of a call.
The Master Annunciator is constructed of durable anodized
aluminum with a striated finish, and is available in
wall or desktop models. The microprocessor-based multiplexed
wired system is expandable to monitor an unlimited number
of zones or floors. Remote Call Stations are available
in models constructed for indoor use, outdoor use, or
vandal/weather resistance, with a choice of flush-mount
or surface-mount. Bright lights, loud tone signals,
and clear two-way communication assure the caller that
help is on the way.
