OMNILINK™ 7 INTEGRATION OF PROVIDER® 680 TO ADT/HIS SYSTEMS

Most healthcare facilities have a computerized database system that contains a great deal of information on each patient. These systems are generally referred to as Admission Discharge Transfer (ADT) or Hospital Information System (HIS). The information in the ADT/HIS system is shared with other systems both within and outside of the facility using an HL7 interface. The Jeron Omnilink™ 7 interface allows ADT/HIS systems to connect to a Provider® 680 system for the purpose of automatically downloading the data required to fill in the Patient Name, Patient Information and Doctor’s Name fields of the Patient Details screen of a Touchscreen Master.
