Customizable Features
Schools can configure the Spectrum 520 or 520-IP system to meet their particular communication needs.  Paging zones and all-call options allow the user to target messages to pre-programmed groups or make announcements facility-wide.  Program distribution, class change bells and warning tone signals can also be tailored to the school’s needs for a customized solution. 

Student and Staff Safety
In the event of an emergency or lockdown situation, warning tones and specific instructions can be announced facility-wide, helping protect the safety of students and staff. Non-blocking two-way communication allows callers to speak hands-free with the administrator, eliminating the need to press a button during an emergency. 

Flexible Wiring Options
Spectrum systems are capable of running on copper, fiber or voice over IP, allowing the facility to save on installation costs.  By connecting the 520-IP to a school’s existing LAN, the system can support more than a thousand stations over vast geographic areas.
