Pro-Alert™ 640 Nurse Call

Pro-Alert 640: Alerting and Communications Nurse Call Options for Healthcare Facilities
The Pro-Alert 640 is the perfect fit for nursing homes, clinics, and smaller medical facilities that want both nurse call notification and the ability to remotely answer patient calls. The Pro-Alert 640 utilizes microprocessor technology to ensure flexible features, easy operation, and simple installation.
Intuitive Operation Showing All Calls at Once
The direct select Pro-Alert 640 Nurse Console displays all calls at once, each with their dedicated annunciation and answering touchpoint. A full English display of the highest priority or longest waiting call on the system allows staff to prioritize which calls to address first. Answering a call is as simple as pressing a flashing button and talking. When the staffing levels are reduced at night, the day/night transfer functionality allows one nursing station to transfer patient calls to another staffed nursing station to ensure patient calls never go unanswered.
Resident Check-in and Multiple Alarm Notification Options
For nursing homes / skilled care facilities, assisted living and long-term care facilities, the Pro-Alert 640 resident check-in option alerts staff when a resident has not been active within a specific time period. In these types of facilities the Pro-Alert 640 can also indicate wandering patient, security system and smoke detector alarms in order to provide a single point for all alarms in the facility. The wireless pendant call option lets residents remain mobile while being able to call for assistance from anywhere within their apartment.
Staff Mobility and Efficiency
Staff remains mobile while staying informed of their patient’s or resident’s needs with pocket page and wireless phone integrations. The Executive Information Software (EIS) keeps a record of all staff and patient/resident interactions to highlight issues before they become problems.
Easy to Install, Maintain, and Expand
The system is Underwriters Laboratories UL1069 listed for nurse call equipment with an optional battery backup option to maintain system operation during the transition to backup emergency power. If additional capacity is required, systems can be networked together to support over 350 rooms.
