Cell Intercom for Increased Safety of Guards and Inmates

With safety and security in mind, the Spectrum high-security stations are designed to withstand the unique and demanding environment of today’s correctional facility.  The stations' vandal-proof design can be configured with the following features:

• Threshold Monitoring – Sentinel™ Sound Detector technology automatically places an intercom call to the control room in the event of a scream, a shout or a disturbance in the cell
• Group Monitor – guards within the control room can monitor the activity of an individual cell or a whole cell block during periods of reduced staff or lock-down situation
• Flexible Paging – public address, alert messages and emergency pages can be distributed throughout the complex over all intercom stations or to select paging groups
• Radio Distribution – pre-selected radio stations can be accessed through the intercom stations in each cell
